能动性使人们有能力在自我成长、调节和自我更新方面发挥作用。具备能动性的小学项目学生善用他们自己的自发性和个人意愿，乐于承担自主学习的责任。因此我们相信只要有平台，作为学习者社区中的一员，孩子们愿意承担责任，付出努力。

Agency gives people the ability to play a role in self-growth, regulation and self-renewal. Motivated primary school students capitalize on their own spontaneity and willingness to take responsibility for their own learning. So we believe that as long as there is a platform, as a member of the learner community, children are willing to take responsibility and make efforts.

带着这样的信念，PYP小学部在9月14日和15日举行了第四届学生会的竞选活动。参加竞选的学生先在班级进行初选，初选通过后再和其他班级学生一起进入复选。

With this belief in mind, PYP Elementary department held its Fourth Student Union campaign on September 14 and 15. The students who run for office hold a primary election in their class, and then pass the primary election and enter the reelection with other students in their class.

复选分为个人演讲和提问两个环节。孩子们通过演讲充分展示自我，评委老师通过提问考察学生应变能力、语言组织与表达能力。经过初选、复选以及对所有竞选学生的综合考察，本次共有35名优秀学生加入学生会。

The check is divided into two parts: personal speech and answering questions. The children fully demonstrated themselves through speeches, and the judges tested the students' adaptability to changes, language organization and expression ability by asking questions. After primary election, selection and comprehensive investigation of all candidates, a total of 35 outstanding students have joined the Student Union this time.
