专业概况

在这里学什么？

The aim of this programme is to impart the understanding and skills required to manage complex computer systems as part of the support services of an organisation. This will include selection, installation, maintenance and support of a wide range of computing technologies and an understanding of currently recommended computing technologies. This is an integrated course delivered both in Dubai and Edinburgh which offers a wealth of experience to students coming both from an undergraduate Information Technology background and from other relevant disciplines. Graduates can expect to find employment with software houses, IT companies, computer services divisions of companies, financial services organisations, defence contractors or government IT agencies and as researchers/research students within universities. Students will also achieve PGDip and PGCert awards in this course.

Science and Engineering (1st degree classification): 985 University (70%), 211 University (72%), Other Institutions(75%). Other than 1st- 985 University (65%), 211 University (68%), Other Institutions(70%). Business: 985 University (65%), 211 University (68%), Other Institutions(70%). Art and Design: 985 University (65%), 211 University (68%), Other Institutions(70%). Exceptions to the above: For Masters Programmes in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics students are required to have 80% or above. For Masters Programmes in Brewing and Distilling students are required to have 80% or above. For Masters Programmes in Photonics, students are required to have 75% or above. Students require IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each element or an acceptable equivalent.
