Our Fashion Marketing degree combines fashion management and marketing with a retail specific focus.

Overview

Gain the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in fashion’s rapidly changing digital landscape. This course combines practical and industrial-based projects in order to give you the knowhow to succeed in the fashion business.

What makes this course unique is that it encourages students to explore multiple disciplines spanning the whole of the supply chain. We’ll help you develop a real understanding of everything from sourcing raw materials and product development to production, distribution, marketing and sales. This means that our graduates can see the bigger picture and make a real impact in all kinds of roles within the fashion industry.

As part of the course, you’ll work on live projects with some top fashion brands. Recently our students worked with Estee Lauder to develop a social media marketing campaign for one of their cosmetic products. You’ll also have the opportunity to take your skills global, with opportunities to study part of your degree in our Dubai campus, France, India or the USA.

The course is taught in our Scottish Borders Campus, which sits close to the heart of Scotland’s luxury textile industry. This is your chance to study in an area that’s home to some of the UK’s top design and production facilities for textiles and fashion.

Assessment

The assessments will be designed to ensure that the students have in their first two years a complement of skills to prepare them for employment in a work-based environment. A range of methods will be used: case study, practical work, written reports, project work and oral presentations.

为来自中国的学生设计 If you have obtained very good grades in qualification such as A-Levels, you would be eligible to apply for advanced entry into Year 2 of our programmes. You require IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each element or an acceptable equivalent.
