Political science focuses on the uses and consequences of public authority in the allocation of societal resources. Faculty focus on problem-driven research that confronts both traditional and emerging challenges in the United States and throughout the world. They specialize in American politics, institutions, and public law; global politics; public policy; political theory; political psychology; and American foreign and security policy.

为来自中国的学生设计 Student needs to complete at least 12 years of school, culminating in an appropriate secondary certificate or external examination. (We may consider the first year or two of university in some countries to be secondary level). Schooling should include preparation in humanities, mathematics, basic sciences, and social sciences. WSU requires a minimum grade point average of 2.70 (on a 4.00 scale) for admission as an international freshman. English Language Requirements: TOEFL - Minimum Score 213 computer-based (CBT); 79 internet-based (iBT); 550 paper-based (PBT); IELTS – 6.5; MELAB – 77.
