With a variety of disciplines, including critical STEM areas, you pick your subject in CMU's secondary teacher certification program. With a long history in teacher education, we’ve established an engaging student teaching program for you to observe live classrooms and gain practical experiences as you develop your own teaching style.

With a variety of community involvement activities, including student organizations, service-learning work, and study abroad opportunities, our secondary education degree will broaden your teaching perspective and help develop you into the best teacher you can be.

Secondary education students interested in obtaining the Michigan Standard Teaching Certificate must complete the Bachelor of Science in Education Degree in the desired level and appropriate content area(s), including the following:

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have attended all secondary and post-secondary institutions. English language requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (minimum score of 550 PBT, 213 CBT, or 79 IBT), International English Language Testing System (minimum score of 6.5), Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (minimum score of 77), Pearson Test of English (minimum score of 53), ELS Language Center Program: Completion of Level 112.
