UMSL Cyber Start Grant for Fall 2020 - Under this scheme, F1 international students who are unable to report to campus this fall due to COVID19 are able to pay a reduced rate of tuition. • This will only be for the Fall 2020 semester as the students should be on campus in Spring 2021 paying regular rates. • Any UMSL Global scholarship awarded for Fall 2020 would be deferred until Spring 2021. • Students must be enrolled in a degree program conducive to online learning.

All department majors may not take mathematical sciences or related area courses on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Students considering graduate study should consult with their advisers about taking work on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis.

Learning Outcomes

• A successful undergraduate should, upon completion, be able to:
• Write clear, logically consistent proofs.
• Read, understand and assess the veracity of logical arguments or mathematical proofs.
• Reformulate problems or questions in relevant mathematical terms.
• Solve problems which involve analysis, algebra or linear algebra, elementary number theory, elementary probability or statistics.
• Demonstrate basic proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in a language in addition to English.

为来自中国的学生设计 Official transcripts: Students in their last year of high school should submit transcripts for all years completed thus far. Students who have completed high school must submit final transcripts and degree certificates or exam results. Students who have studied at a college or university must submit university transcripts to date. If you have completed more than 24 credit hours at a university, you do not need to submit high school transcripts. Transcripts are required from all high schools or universities attended. Proof of English proficiency: Minimum requirements are 61 TOEFL, 5.5 IELTS, or 44 PTE-A, 85-90 Duolingo.
