在这里学什么?Our interdisciplinary, hands-on master’s in landscape architecture program will prepare you for an exciting, in-demand career planning and designing outdoor spaces and landscapes. You’ll learn within a diverse, supportive community focused on design, cultural landscapes, and environmental issues.

You’ll have the freedom to choose your own creative project topic during your final year. Through a structured program of paid internships in professional offices, students also have the opportunity to develop a base of experience for a successful future in practice.
You Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture - 30 CREDITS
This option, known as Program 1, is open to students who hold a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from a program accredited by the Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board.
This one and a half year (30-credit) program is a second professional degree in landscape architecture intended to provide the opportunity for advanced specialization.
You Have a Degree Related to Environmental Design and Planning Programs - 65 CREDITS
Students holding a professional degree in a related environmental design and planning discipline (e.g., architecture, interior design, urban and regional planning, etc.) are placed in Program 2, which includes 46 graduate credit hours and 19 undergraduate credit hours. This two-and-a-half-year program meets accrediting standards for the first professional degree in Landscape Architecture.
This program is language intensive and English proficiency is required. Students in this program must complete foundation courses at the undergraduate level except where previous equivalent course work is documented and approved by Ball State.
You Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Another Major - 78 credits
If you have a bachelor's degree outside environmental design, this three-year (78-credit) program—known as Program Track 1—prepares you for a career in landscape architecture. The program meets accrediting standards for the first professional degree in landscape architecture.
Foundation courses at the undergraduate level are required, except where previous equivalent course work is documented and approved by the department.
