Program Credentials

Our master’s in special education is nationally recognized and its applied behavior analysis course sequence is verified by the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI).

Course Requirements

Completion of 30 credits of graduate coursework in special education, or equivalent as approved by the department chair, including a research course, is required to earn your master’s degree. Coursework can include classes taken for a departmental graduate certificate or an add-on teaching license. Completion of this program does not provide you with an initial teaching license.
