Once you start with us you can choose to study over three years, or convert your degree to a four year programme which includes a placement year. **Course details**Year OneIn your first year, you learn marketing fundamentals alongside practical application. This includes planning, building and successfully launching a website. Modules include: The Digital Landscape and Principles of Web Design. Year Two Open and explore the digital marketer’s toolkit. Learn to use these tools, including social media, mobile, virtual and augmented reality.Discover the wealth of possibilities this toolkit has for creating outstanding, successful campaigns. Start to shape your career path by focusing on an aspect of digital marketing that inspires you and undertake a 5-week work placement that suits your personal interests and ambitions. We have a dedicated work-based learning team to support you throughout. Modules include: Social Media Marketing and The Digital ToolboxYear Three In your final year, you will look at all the exciting developments in digital marketing technology that will impact upon the future of marketing. This includes mixed reality, understanding big data, and smart technologies. You will carry out an original supervised research project into a subject you select and complete a module designed to maximise your individual professional success. Everything you study is done alongside the development of hands-on digital marketing skills. You will be looking at solutions to digital marketing challenges for organisations from small companies, charities through to leading multi-nationals.Modules include: Digital Marketing Futures and Data Driven MarketingOur lecturing team have a wealth of knowledge and industry experience to help you to gain the experience you need for your chosen career following graduation.
