在这里学什么?This exciting 2-year MSc programme is designed to kick-start your career as an actuary, preparing you to take a leading role in managing risk in financial institutions worldwide. Students who successfully meet the progression requirements will then go on to undertake a summer project after Stage 2.
Taking our MSc in Actuarial Science and Management is a great way to speed your progress to this most prestigious of careers - it's designed to take you almost all of the way to qualification. A student who graduates with a full set of exemptions from Heriot-Watt will only have to pass three more examinations, and gain the necessary work experience, to qualify as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
The School is currently in discussion with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries to secure the equivalent accreditation and exemptions under the new Curriculum 2019 education strategy. Students will also achieve PGCert and PGDip awards in this course.

Art and Design: 985 University (65%), 211 University (68%), Other Institutions(70%). Exceptions to the above: For Masters Programmes in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics students are required to have 80% or above. For Masters Programmes in Brewing and Distilling students are required to have 80% or above. For Masters Programmes in Photonics, students are required to have 75% or above. Students require IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each element or an acceptable equivalent.课程信息
