专业概况

在这里学什么？

The Master of Sport Management (Extension) provides a substantial overview of the sport industry, and is designed to develop critical, interpretive and problem-solving skills relevant to that sector, and to provide a significant overview of the sport industry.

The course develops advanced skill sets needed for managers to operate in the sport industry.

In comparison to the standard Master's program, the additional elective subject choices in the extension provide an opportunity to specialise more deeply in the sports management and related fields, and further enhance students' management skills, professional practice, specialist knowledge and capabilities.

Course aims

The course provides theories, models and practical case studies in order to understand the complex nature of the sport industry.

Course structure

Students must complete a total of 96 credit points made up of 15 subjects, comprising ten core subjects (60 credit points), four electives subjects (24 credit points), and either Industry Research Project or Internship Experience (12 credit points).

Careers

Graduates may pursue careers in such fields as sport marketing, sport event management, venue and facility management, sports development, sports administration, sport media management and operations management.
