专业概况

The Bachelor of Business Bachelor of Arts in International Studies is offered jointly by Business and International Studies. The degree integrates the study of business with a major in the language and culture of another country.

This combined degree aims to provide students with the knowledge, competencies and values necessary to develop critical, analytical and evaluative skills essential for a fulfilling and effective career in business, while at the same time providing an opportunity to acquire knowledge and understanding of another language and culture.

Course structure

All students must complete 240 credit points of study, comprising 144 credit points relating to business and 96 credit points relating to international studies. Full details of the Bachelor of Business component of the combined degree are available from the Bachelor of Business (C10026). The Bachelor of Arts in International Studies requires undergraduates to study a region or country major over a minimum of three years. The Bachelor of Arts in International Studies is not offered as a separate degree, but is completed only in combination with the professional degree program.

Careers

Career options include positions in any branch of business or commerce as well as management of private and public sector enterprises ranging from start-ups to large multinational enterprises. Career options are enhanced by international experience, making students more marketable to prospective employers.

Award of the full International Baccalaureate Diploma where the total aggregate score including bonus and penalty points meets entry standard. Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; TOEFL (Internet-based): 79 - 93 overall, writing 21; PTE: 58-64; CAE: 176-184; AE5/AE6 (PASS): AE5.
