专业概况

With a focus on skills training and a choice of relevant and progressive optional modules, this programme will give you a competitive advantage in your area of interest. You will deliver a rigorous scientific research project supervised by our renowned experts, with many projects resulting in conference presentations and publications in respected journals. You will study three compulsory modules giving you a robust grounding in relevant surgical skills and research methods and select a combination of three optional modules to expand specific knowledge in your areas of interest. These optional modules offer you the opportunity to learn from world leading academics and clinicians.

Careers

Recent graduates have become junior surgeons in surgical training while the majority of experienced graduates have become consultants in specialist surgical fields, throughout the UK and abroad. Examples include Consultant in Colorectal Surgery, Royal Free Hospital NHS; Senior Fellow in Microsurgery Training, Perth Australia; Senior Oral Surgeon, at KRG, Iraq.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students need to have Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall average mark of 85% for courses requiring Upper second-class (2:1) degree. For courses requiring Lower second-class (2:2) degree, they need to have a minimum overall average mark of 80%. Some programmes / departments will require higher marks.
