International business studies the markets, people, and places involved in trade, commerce, and exchanges throughout the world. Students in this field are challenged to think globally and to develop an awareness of the cultural, political, and economic aspects of business.

Strengths of the program

Recently Ranked: US News National Ranking - 15th. Four professional full-time advisors are available to assist in students' academic course planning. WSU offers one of the few business programs in the U.S. in which all the business and accounting programs are fully accredited by AACSB International. All business and economics courses are taught in a state-of-the-art building containing classrooms with Internet connections and the latest audiovisual technology. Five of the department's faculty members are Fulbright scholars who have conducted in-depth research in other nations. Professors in the program have lived, taught, and worked in many countries. Learn from experienced, award-winning faculty who come from all departments in the college.

为来自中国的学生设计 Student needs to complete at least 12 years of school, culminating in an appropriate secondary certificate or external examination. (We may consider the first year or two of university in some countries to be secondary level). Schooling should include preparation in humanities, mathematics, basic sciences, and social sciences. WSU requires a minimum grade point average of 2.70 (on a 4.00 scale) for admission as an international freshman. English Language Requirements: TOEFL - Minimum Score 213 computer-based (CBT); 79 internet-based (iBT); 550 paper-based (PBT); IELTS – 6.5; MELAB – 77.
