About the program

The Bond University College Foundation Program provides a pathway for international students to pursue undergraduate studies. It meets the requirements for Foundation Programs, which are registered on CRICOS for delivery in Australia to international students, who are seeking entry to university undergraduate programs.

Students learn the core academic and English language skills, as well as the independent learning skills required for entry into an undergraduate program at Bond University. The campus offers its students state-of-the-art facilities, small class sizes and highly qualified and experienced academic staff.

The Foundation Program is open to international students who have completed the equivalent of Australian year 11 and meet the English language requirements.

The Bond College Foundation Program comprises of two semesters and eight (8) subjects, as follows:

BCFN01-015 Academic Skills BCFN01-020 Introduction Entrepreneurship & Innovation BCFN01-003 Foundation Mathematics 1 BCFN01-001 Introduction to Multimedia and IT BCFN01-004 World History and Politics BCFN01-010 Foundation English 1 BCFN01-012 Foundation English 2

And choose one from the following:

BCFN01-018 Society & Culture BCFN01-006 Introduction to Economics BCFN01-021 Foundation Mathematics 2

A 70% cumulative percentage average is required to enter the Faculty of Law programs. There is no direct pathway to the Bachelor of Actuarial Science from this program. Students may pathway through a Diploma of Business or the Bachelor of Commerce.

Foundation Mathematics 2 is a prerequisite for the Bachelor of Biomedical Science and the Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science.

Mode

On Campus and Remote

Due to current travel restrictions, this program will temporarily be delivered using a mixture of on-campus, remote and multi-modal classes to support and engage all students, from all parts of the world.

The January semester for this program will be delivered in a multi-modal format, with classes designed to support and engage all learners. Whether they’re on campus or abroad, all students will be able to access Bond’s exceptional and personalised learning experience through dynamic and interactive lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops and lab sessions.

Other equivalent entry equivalents: All programs except Bachelor of Actuarial Science: Successful completion of senior secondary school in high school, not on selected list - 80% average required. Bachelor of Actuarial Science requires a Goa Kao for 2016 Entry (scores reviewed annually): Jiangsu 353/480; Shanghai 360/630; Zhejiang 600/810; Shaan Xi 470/750; Guangdong 508/750; Shan Dong 537/750; Hubei 512/750; Sichuan 532/750; Hebei 525/750; Beijing 548/750; Tianjin 521/750; Chongqing 525/750; Hainan 602/900; Yunnan 525/772; and other Provinces 520/750. English Language Requirements: IELTS score 6.5 (Writing 6.5, Reading 6.0, Listening 6.0, Speaking 6.0); Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-Based Test: 79; PTE: 58 with a Communicative Skills score in writing 58 or above.
