What you will study

First year

A typical first year may include:

• Developing an understanding of literary genres, epochs, characters, etc.
• Workshop classes exclusive to the degree to develop your creative writing skills.
• Developing multimedia skills and study elective topics.

Second year

A typical second year may include:

• Writing workshop skills developed to allow you to evaluate your own and others’ writing.
• A range of option topics covering different literary genres and epochs are available to study.

Third year

A typical third year may include:

• Developing your workshop writing skills to create longer and more sophisticated pieces of writing.
• The option to focus on prose writing and participating in a fascinating range of optional topics across areas such as literature and scriptwriting.
