在这里学什么？ Course overview

In 2016, the World Health Organisation (WHO) stated that diabetes was the direct cause for the death of 1.6 million people, as well as it being the primary cause of blindness, kidney failure and other cardiovascular mortalities.

This MSc is designed to develop and further your understanding and knowledge of diabetes focusing on up-to-date research and developments in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes. The course is suitable for healthcare professionals, researchers and intercalating medical students.

You will receive training in the skills required in the reading and interpretation of the literature and translating that into evidence-based practice. We aim to develop your research and writing skills so that you will be able to contribute to the scientific literature in an effective manner.

Assessment

You will be assessed via coursework assignments which may include clinical reviews, literature reviews, case studies, posters or oral presentations.

It includes: East and West International Education (EWIE)/ Wiseway Global International Pre-Masters Programme at 60% or above; Dongfang International Centre for Education Exchange Top University Pre-Masters Programme at 60% or above. Applicants for the MBA should have 2 years work experience, although well qualified and motivated individuals without this will be considered. IELTS: 6.5 (no less than 5.5 in any band).
